Created by the headwaters of the São Francisco River, this park covers six districts of Minas Gerais: Sacramento, Capitólio, Delfinópolis, São João Batista do Glória, São Roque de Minas and Vargem Bonita. There are three access points in the district of São Roque de Minas. The region’s main biome covers 40% of endemic species and is also known as the Terra do Queijo (Land of Cheese) due to its famous national cheese basket!
